Terms of Use
Last updated: November 6, 2026
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Mario Fiorucci, who runs Own The Drill ("we", "us"). By using ownthedrill.com or the Own The Drill app, you agree to them. If you're under 18, your parent or guardian must agree to them for you, and your coach records that agreement before you can log in. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is part of these terms.
2. Who can use Own The Drill
- Coaches must be adults and must have their club's or team's permission to use the app with their players.
- Players join by invitation from their coach, with a parent's or guardian's consent.
3. Your account and PIN
- Keep your PIN private, and don't share your account.
- If you think someone knows your PIN, tell your coach so they can reset it.
- After 5 wrong PINs, an account locks for 15 minutes.
4. Coaches' responsibilities
Coaches must:
- get a parent's or guardian's consent before activating a player, and record it in the app;
- add only players they coach, keep their details accurate, and remove players who leave;
- follow their club's and soccer association's safeguarding rules (the app has no private messages between coaches and players);
- never upload a photo that shows players without their parents' permission;
- keep any data they download from the app safe, and delete it when they no longer need it.
5. Fair play
- Log only what you really did. Coaches can check, reject or reverse any result.
- Points, standings and awards are for motivation. They have no cash value and can't be traded.
- We may correct points to fix an error or stop cheating.
6. Respect
Don't post anything in notes, the feed or video links that bullies, threatens, is hateful or sexual, or shares someone else's private information. Video links must be to your own videos, kept unlisted, and must not show other people without their permission. Coaches and we may remove anything that breaks this section, and we may suspend an account that keeps breaking it.
7. Train safely
Own The Drill suggests drills and challenges, but it doesn't watch you train. Warm up, train within your ability and stop if something hurts. Train in a safe place, never on a road. Follow your coach's and your parents' guidance, and check with a doctor if you're unsure whether an exercise is right for you. You take part in training at your own risk, to the extent the law allows.
8. Our content
The app and its name, logo, design and drawings belong to us. The quotes on the website are credited to the athletes named, for inspiration. Own The Drill is not affiliated with or endorsed by any athlete, team, league or brand named or shown.
9. Your content
You keep ownership of what you write in the app. You allow us to store it and show it to your team so the app can work.
10. The demo
Real FC and its players are fictional, for demonstration only. The demo resets every night. Don't enter real information in it.
11. Changes and availability
Own The Drill is free. We may change features, pause the service for maintenance, or end it. Before ending it, we will give coaches reasonable notice so they can download their team's data.
12. No warranty
We provide Own The Drill "as is". We work to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, lost data, or injuries that happen during training, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to $100. Nothing in these terms limits any right that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
14. Ending your use
You can stop using Own The Drill at any time. A coach can remove a player from the team. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute goes to the courts in Toronto, Ontario.
16. Changes to these terms
We will post any change on this page with a new date. For important changes, we will tell coaches in the app first. If you keep using Own The Drill after a change, you accept the new terms.
